Multimedia Journalist
I grew up in Big Sky, Montana, and was encouraged by my parents from a young age to follow my creative instincts and many curiosities, a path that naturally led me to writing. I moved away from the mountains to study journalism at the University of Southern California and later returned to my home state with a shiny new degree and desire to use storytelling as a tether between my outdoor and creative pursuits and my career.
A lover of multimedia storytelling, I am passionate about broadening the scope for how readers interact with stories and enjoy incorporating thoughtful photography and design into my work. I believe that storytelling is one of the most powerful tools in enacting change. When I’m not at my desk, I often spend time in the mountains hiking, skiing, climbing and creating art.
I currently hold the position of digital producer at Outlaw Partners in Big Sky where I manage the digital distribution of both the bi-monthly Explore Big Sky newspaper and bi-annual Mountain Outlaw magazine, write a daily newsletter and report on the outdoor recreation and arts & entertainment beats.
